Responsibilities
For one of our clients, one of the most famous fintech companies in Romania, in the field of online transactions, we are looking for a Finance Operations Specialist.
As a Finance Operations Specialist, they will support the finance team by managing accounting records, reconciling bank transactions with internal reports, monitoring payments from employees and partners, and actively contributing to the optimization of financial workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Records entries in the operational system based on operational, accounting, and banking reports;
- Accurately records bank transactions in the accounting system within the allocated timeframe;
- Monitors incoming payments from employees and partners, ensuring correct entry into the operational system;
- Reconciles information from operational reports with accounting records and bank transactions;
- Acts proactively to identify and resolve discrepancies, collaborating with partners and/or colleagues as needed;
- Adheres to internal policies, procedures, and instructions that impact activities;
- Prepares reports upon request from management or other departments;
- Collaborates within the department and with other departments in implementing new processes and improving activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role;
- Higher education, preferably in the field of economics;
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
- Written and verbal communication skills in English are an advantage;
- Strong communication skills and orientation towards internal clients;
- Attention to detail and proactivity;
- Good planning, organization, and prioritization skills.
