Network Engineer

Job Description & Summary

We are looking for a Network Engineer to participate in network infrastructure management in PwC offices across Europe. Our new colleague will work in a regional team responsible for network infrastructure in about 50 offices. 

Job Duties:

• LAN and WiFi infrastructure management, troubleshooting and monitoring

• cooperation with neighbor IT teams

• cooperation with 3d parties (ISPs, hardware vendors, etc...)

• working on users and clients requests as 2d-level team

• new office and allocations network infrastructure design

• keeping documentation, instructions, procedures and knowledge up-to-date

• possible work activities out of local working hours due to wide geographical distribution of managed networks
   

Skills:

• Strong interpersonal skills and can-do attitude

• Team player, flexible and stress resistant

• Hybrid working model to be applied and occasional travel may be required.

• 1-2 years experience with working on the following campus technologies

• Cisco Meraki Solutions - wireless and switching

• Cisco Catalyst portfolio - switching and routing

• Possessing strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Familiarity with ITIL change management best practices is a plus.

Desirable:

• Experience with Network Monitoring Systems

• Python scripting and automation skills

Qualifications:

• Education and technical skills level:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field required

  • CCNA/Meraki Solutions Specialist

• Language:

  • Fluent language skills in English
