Job Description & Summary

As a senior consultant in our tax services department you will be actively supporting managers and senior managers in delivering high quality tax advice to Bulgarian and multinational companies in the area of VAT and corporate taxes. You will have the opportunity to develop further as a professional tax consultant and acquire skills in business development, building client relationships and leading teams, which will allow you to grow in the organization.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Advise clients on the tax implications of their business operations, complex transactions with goods and services and business restructurings like mergers and acquisitions;
  • Carry out reviews of clients’ tax positions;
  • Prepare tax submissions and returns on behalf of clients;
  • Support clients during tax control procedures and disputes with the tax authorities;
  • Actively participate in client meetings, teleconferences and presentations;
  • Contribute to business development activities;
  • Work as part of project teams and to delegate to and mentor junior consultants.

What we are looking for:

  • A professional with minimum 2-3 years of experience in a tax consultant, accounting, finance or legal role;
  • Graduate in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law or related disciplines.
  • Excellent command of written and oral English.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to a long-term career in tax consulting.
