Senior Software Engineering Excellence Lead

THE ROLE:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineering Excellence Lead responsible for actively monitoring and analyzing product performance metrics under product fundamentals and engineering excellence and driving engineering & operational excellence in the following areas:

• Cloud Operations (Service reliability, meaningful availability of service, observability of service components)
• Support (Incoming case volume, Time to clear backlog, Product satisfaction bottom and top 2 box, #Closed cases and % first contact resolution, Average processor change)
• Quality (Automation coverage, Automation pass rate, No open regressions, Compliance with LoB test strategy, Solution acceptance criteria, % regressions found by automation, Product standards compliance, Content activation, Traceability)
• Security (Infrastructure Security)

Role would include:

• Building the reporting Framework for key KPIs under product fundamentals and engineering excellence.
• Engaging on the existing reporting frameworks under product fundamentals and engineering excellence.
• Stay abreast of the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices.
• Actively participate in continuous optimization of already existing procedures and processes.
• Drive for automation and standardization.
• Collaborate with engineering and product management as well as other service groups.
• Take active lead in Stakeholder management (incl. Senior leadership).

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Experience with SAP products related to quality, cloud ops, support, security.
• Strong understanding of managing the life cycle of large-scale programs and projects in Product organizations.
• Highly flexible, and adaptable. Be able to effectively juggle between multiple activities and priorities.
• Evidenced ability to build support for ideas.
• Experience modifying and/or defining processes.
• Mastered Agile methods and practices (Scrum and Kanban).
• Self-driven and with a general interest in learning new things.
• At least 5 years’ experience in project management methodologies, tools.
• Development/Testing experience would be advantageous.
• Experience with Power BI Low Code / No Code.
• Excellent communication skills.
