Responsibilities

For our client, an international company that combines AI and technical skills with Construction Project Management, we are seeking a BIM Scheduling Manager to oversee and coordinate the scheduling activities for construction projects. 

This role plays a critical part in ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget by managing timelines, tracking progress, and adjusting schedules as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with various teams, including project managers, contractors, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules for construction activities from start to finish.
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with the project timeline.
  • Monitor and track project progress, adjusting schedules as needed to mitigate delays or address changes in project scope.
  • Analyze project data to identify potential risks, conflicts, or delays, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive scheduling reports, including Gantt charts, critical path analyses, and resource allocation plans.
  • Ensure that project timelines adhere to contract requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide recommendations on how to optimize resources and reduce project timelines without compromising quality or safety.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or other related tools.
  • Strong understanding of construction project phases,
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze data and make decisions to adjust schedules in real time.
  • Knowledge of construction contract management and project risk assessment.
  • Good English communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with large-scale construction projects, including commercial or industrial developments.
  • Familiarity with Lean construction principles and techniques.
  • Certification in project scheduling (e.g., PMI-SP) is a plus.
  • Experience with  BIM platforms and basic SQL skills are desired.
