Responsibilities

Main responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day interaction with suppliers: ordering, communication of demand/volume/delivery time changes, issue resolution, follow up on backorders;
• Process all purchase orders according to BIC’s standard process and according to the terms per contract (e.g., pricing, delivery, payment terms);
• Ensure internal customers are complying with contracts and using preferred suppliers with contracted pricing. Perform periodic audits of automated Purchase Orders;
• Manage day-to-day interaction with suppliers: ordering, communication of demand/volume/delivery time changes, issue resolution, follow up on backorders;
• Meet agreed SLA and KPI targets.

The skills:

• Fluent in Italian and English;
• University degree in Supply chain or MBA;
• 1 year + relevant experience;
• Comprehensive knowledge of purchasing; understanding of supply chain management functions;
• Advanced Excel skills (VBA); experience with JD Edwards and other ERP;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
