Technical Lead - Cloud Development

In SAP Business Technology Platfrom we are committed to providing high quality solutions that ensure business continuity and data integrity for our clients. We are setting up a new team of professionals to enhance the Availability and Disaster Recovery capabilities of our platform. Key aspects would be Proove of Concepts, deriving best practices/requirements for other teams and development of reusable services. The teams role is critical in ensuring our clients' data is always available and secure, regardless of geographical challenges.

Job Description:

We are looking for Senior Software Engineer to work on:

• Proof of Concepts
• Design and implementation guidelines for HA&DR
• Tools and reusable services for asynchronous data replication between regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Create comprehensive guidance and best practices for high availability and disaster recovery strategies.
• Design, develop, and implement tools and services for asynchronous data replication across different regions.

Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Creative thinking, with a willingness and ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies.
• Result-oriented and self-organized work style.
• Team player with strong collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in atleast one programing langugage - preferable Go
• Proficiency with Linux and Containerization (Docker)
• Experiance with Computer Networking and Distributed Applications
• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure Provider (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with Terraform or other Infra as Code solution
• Experiance with CI/CD systems and automation
• Experience with Secure Development practices (implementation and infrastructure level)
• Track record in design/implementation/operations of productive services
• Experience documenting and comunicating software architecture
• Experience in Cloud Native Architecture and design practices
• Experience in Cloud Operations - DevSecOps
• Ability to navigating large code bases and complex solutions
• Ability to refine requirements and comunicate with stakeholders
