Responsibilities
What you`ll do
As a Cloud developer / DevOps, you will be part of a team that develops and operates the SAP User Assistance platform (aka, DITA CCMS Landscape), composed of:
- DITA CCMS solution providing authoring capabilities and running on SAP Converged Cloud (Open Stack)
- DITA Build solution providing CI/CD and publishing capabilities, relying on micro-service architecture and state-of-the-art cloud native serverless technologies on Google Cloud.
In this role, you will have the great opportunity to:
- Enhance, extend, and scale the DITA CCMS landscape with new capabilities and automation to support new business cases and innovations
- Support Integration capabilities to DITA CCMS through Web Services.
With your strong software development and DevOps skillsets and proficiency, your tasks will be:
- Develop REST API and web-based applications (React, NodeJs, Flask, Open API, Python).
- Co-design, implement, test and deploy Cloud services using the fully managed offering from GCP and SAP Private Cloud.
- Contribute to implement security compliance and Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (Jenkins) pipelines to deploy to the Cloud according to SAP Cloud qualities.
- Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders in various locations (France, Germany, Bulgaria, North America) for co-innovation and continuous improvement.

What you bring:
What is essential for the role?
- In the first place? An open mind!
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Python, NodeJS/React programming languages.
- Proficiency in Web design and development (Open API, REST API, Flask).
- Proficiency in working with Linux, and Containerization.
- Experience with state-of-the-art software engineering methodologies, e.g., test-driven-development, Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Fluent English - both written and verbal.

- For this role, we are offering a 1-year limited contract for a maternity leave replacement.
