On our mission to improve developer experience at SAP, we are looking for a Senior Back-End / Full Stack Developer that will join us to develop services on top of our Internal Developer Platform “Hyperspace”, the new entry point for 50.000 product developers at SAP.

As a Senior developer, you will be part of cross-functional scrum team, consisting of a product owner, scrum master and further developers. The team will also be supported by experts worldwide, like product managers, UX designers and other scrum teams.

• You will design and implement services on our internal developer platform and be involved in all phases of the development lifecycle – from idea generation over development to operations and support (with a focus on back-end development).
• You will support your product owner in defining concepts, doing technical evaluations or providing effort estimations.
• You will collaborate with a fun, supportive and talented team.
• We take our products seriously, but we do not take ourselves too seriously.

• You are also entitled to participate in our unit-wide research initiative that reserves up to 10% of our time for research & innovation.

We don't expect that you know everything already – you’ll get the time to learn and we’ll help you with that.

• Degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification
• 5+ years of experience working as a Software Developer
• Proven programming skills in either JavaScript/TypeScript or Go
• Experience with backend technologies like Kubernetes / Docker
• Team player with clear written and spoken communication
• Quality mindset and the ability to follow quality standards
• Experience in Scrum or SAFe is beneficial
• Fluent in English (written and spoken; we are an international team)

It is fine if your experience is with a specialization on back-end development, but you should be interested in learning to work full stack.
