Senior ABAP Developer for SAP S4/HANA EHS

What you`ll do:

Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our SAP EHS Management of Change team and develop new product features using the ABAP developing stack. both in cloud and on premise as part of SAP S/4HANA. The Management of Change solution is used to initiate, manage, and track operational changes, helping businesses maintain consistency and ensure task completion throughout the change processes.

The Role:

As a Software Developer, you will:

• Participate in all phases of software development and delivery, including research, prototyping, design, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and support
• Acquire and apply knowledge of SAP development tools and technologies, such as SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 frameworks, ABAP programming language, Core Data Services (CDS), in-memory computing, etc.
• Follow the industry’s best practices and maintain high standards for code quality
• Develop advanced product and technical knowledge of development processes and product standards
• Collaborate closely with your scrum development team, sharing knowledge to ensure product success
• Continually enhance your agile software engineering skills and contribute to the improvement of your team and product
• Lead by demonstrating excellence in software development and promoting best practices within your team and beyond

What you bring:

• Strong expertise in software development
  Experience with ABAP will be considered as an advantage
  Experience in WebDynpro for ABAP will be considered as an advantage
  Excellent knowledge in OOP, data structures, algorithms, and solid experience in coding
  Good knowledge of user interfaces, MVC concept and UI frameworks based on it. JavaScript, HTML/CSS, UI5 will be considered an advantage
  Strong understanding of software architecture principles, modern cloud architectures, and design of large software systems
  Very good knowledge of databases, relational databases design, and SQL
• Curiosity and eagerness to dive into new technologies, concepts, and tools
• Excellent communication skills, proven both in relations with teammates, partners, customers, and external stakeholders
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
