(Regular/Senior) Software Developer for SAP Sustainability Solution: S/4HANA for Product Compliance

PURPOSE & OBJECTIVES

We are looking for a Software Developer to join one of our SAP Sustainability solutions and develop new product features in the ABAP programming language. The SAP S/4HANA for product compliance solution supports our customers with activities in the areas of producing, transporting, buying, and selling products to ensure that these products are clean and compliant to world regulations. It helps companies organize and automate product-related processes, implement controls through the product lifecycle, streamline communication, and accelerate product time to market.

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

You will participate in all phases of software development and delivery – research, prototyping, design, architecture, implementation, and testing. You will learn and work with SAP development tools and technologies (SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 frameworks, ABAP programming language, Core Data Services (CDS), public APIs, in-memory computing), adhere to industry best practices, and build advanced product and technical knowledge of SAP Sustainability solutions.

YOUR PROFILE

• Strong expertise in software development:Deep knowledge in OOP, data structures, algorithms, and solid experience in coding. Experience with ABAP development will be considered a strong advantage.
  Good knowledge of user interfaces, MVC concept and UI frameworks based on it. Experience with JavaScript, HTML/CSS, UI5 will be considered an advantage.
  Basic understanding of software architecture principles, modern cloud architectures and design of large software systems.
  Very good knowledge of databases, relational databases design, and SQL.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• 4+ years of experience as a software developer.
• Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or related field.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in English.
