Developer for Dev Tools Team

What you’ll do:

Our Tools Team is growing, and we are looking for a developer who likes to join us on our mission to increase developer productivity within SAP and provide CI/CD services for SAP application development. Your future team designs and implements a new state-of-the-art Dependency Management System (DMS), that allows SAP application developers to automatically derive transparency on complete Software Bill of Materials (SBOM). Based on this we ensure an automated security & compliance supply chain along the software development lifecycle to increase the development speed.

As a Senior Developer in our team

• You will work in an agile scrum team that is embedded into a scaled agile framework.
• You will design and implement components of DMS and be involved in all phases of the development lifecycle – from idea generation over development to operations and support (with a focus on development).
• You will support your product owner in defining concepts, doing technical evaluations or providing effort estimations.
• You will collaborate with a fun, supportive and talented team.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Strong analytical and logical skills, ability to quickly acquire thorough understanding in innovative technologies are a must
• Full-stack experience with developing backend and operating UIs using modern technologies is preferable (knowledge of the SAP BTP is a plus)
• 3+ years of experience in e.g. TypeScript, Java Script, Go, along with a good knowledge in Test Automation. Interest in ABAP programming is beneficial.
• Good knowledge in CI/CD Tools like Jenkins or GitHub is expected
• Experience in scaling agile working models
• Very good team player with goal-oriented working style, fluent in English
