Junior Cloud Data & ML Platform Engineer (DevOps/MLOps)

The SAP Intelligent Enterprise Solutions (IES) organization has the purpose to “Deliver and Run the Intelligent Enterprise”. IES is SAP’s technology backbone and most compelling reference customer, and as such, we influence SAP product development and strategy, with our customer experience at heart. To support the updated SAP AI Strategy and the company vision on Generative AI, we need to strengthen our team to accelerate delivery of Data & AI Cloud Solutions.

The Role

We’re looking for a Junior Cloud Data & ML Platform Engineer, with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our Data Science, AI and Big Data team and work on innovation projects.

As a Junior Cloud Data Engineer, you will:

• Contribute to the implementation of best-in class services for our SAP Cloud Data & ML Platform, industrializing the entire Data Engineering pipelines and Machine Learning models life cycle (DevSecOps, MLOps)
• Get involved in all aspects of entire solution lifecycle starting from idea creation to productization
• Utilize Azure cloud infrastructure to evolve and extend ML platform services
• Responsibilities
• Develop & Operate cutting-edge Machine Learning platform services for large enterprise by following agile development practices
• Demonstrate excellent skills in product design and development

What you bring

•         Bachelor‘s or master’s degree in business informatics, computer science, engineering or related technical fields. Students are welcome to apply

•         Ability to communicate complex concepts in simple form to non-technical audience

•         Interest in Big Data, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning and MLOps issues

•         Good knowledge in Python

•         Interest in Cloud & AI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Azure Data, Databricks, Spark, Terraform)
