Associate Operations Engineer for SAP Business Technology Platform (Maternity replacement)

The role

We are looking for an Associate Operations Engineer (f/m/d) who is enthusiastic and passionate about technology and fascinated by its unlimited possibilities to strengthen our BTP Neo DevOps team.

In this role, you will work close with Process Owners and Development Operations colleagues to create value for our customers.

What you’ll do

• Handle operations tickets and regular backlog items in an agile manner.
• Implement landscape configuration changes.
• Collaborate with Process owners and coordinate BTP Change Management activities.
• Engage in software validation and verification to ensure compliance with defined change management policies.
• Contribute to the overall success of the team and its deliverables as a strong team player.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (Graduates are welcome!)
• Basic understanding of ITIL processes is an advantage.
• Good understanding of distributed systems and cloud technologies
• Experience in working with Unix / Linux environments.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban / Scrumban)
• Highly motivated, with a willingness to quickly acquire new knowledge.
• Excellent team player with strong time management skills, and a passion for your work
• Confident communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
