For one of our clients, an international company specialized in producing corrugated cardboard packaging solutions, serving a wide range of industries such as food and beverages, electronics, and logistics, we are recruiting a Lean Coordinator (production/ manufacturing) for their production plant.
The Lean Coordinator will focus on achieving Lean excellence across the division (factory/cluster) using Lean tools and an agile mindset. This role involves collaborating with an international, cross-functional team to drive continuous improvement initiatives and train local practitioners.
The position also entails managing and coaching Lean practitioners, aligning with the company’s Lean strategy, and ensuring the sustainability of Lean practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Align and implement the company’s Lean framework within the Lean Coordinator community.
- Establish and continuously improve the local Lean framework for efficient prioritization of activities.
- Lead Lean business transformation across all functional areas.
- Provide coaching to local Lean practitioners and improve cross-functional processes.
- Ensure the alignment and sustainability of Lean tools and improvements.
- Identify and reduce waste using Lean methodologies.
- Actively support Agile teams in discovering, planning, and implementing valuable work.
- Engage in team activities and self-organize to meet Sprint objectives, delivering a "finished" product at the end of each Sprint.
- Contribute to defining and sizing tasks to improve the team’s success chances.
- Contribute expertise to the specific chapter that represents your functional domain.
- Support the community with specific knowledge to maximize potential outcomes.
- Participate in national and international working groups, process analyses, and meetings.
- Share knowledge and experience with fellow members.
- Drive Lean excellence across the division.
- Identify and introduce relevant industry trends and developments.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Business/Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in productivity improvement projects within administrative or production settings, particularly in corrugated cardboard manufacturing.
- Strong command of the English language.
- Willingness to travel frequently, as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Office365, MS Teams, etc.).
- Ability to break down key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet set targets.
- Expertise in identifying and implementing potential improvements across diverse processes.
- Understanding of production processes and KPI breakdown for achieving improvement targets
- High potential and motivation to master Lean tools (Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, SMED, etc.).
- Experience in administrative or operational processes and associated KPIs.
- Strong understanding of cross-departmental relationships within production environments (production planning, maintenance, logistics, etc.).
- Experience in indirect processes affecting production (sales, customer service).
- Enthusiastic about identifying and reducing waste.
- Strong coaching and influencing skills.
- Excellent communicator and networker at all levels.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and provide constructive feedback.
- Self-organized with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Location: Bolintin- ilfov.
Working schedule: 8:00-16:00, Monday to Friday.
