The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. With its more than 1400 professionals, SAP Labs Bulgaria also has strong contributions toward life-cycle management, user interface & user experience across the broader portfolio of SAP products and has recently welcomed new teams focusing on business applications. As a Front-End Developer, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining web applications. You'll work closely with our backend and full-stack developers to deliver a consistent and reliable web experience. You'll work with our designers to improve usability for our customers. You'll optimize web design for mobile and other platforms for maximum speed. You'll work with designers to ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency. Ultimately, your work will have a direct impact on the user experience of our customers.

What you’ll do

  • You are significantly involved in the development and design of our software products.
  • You will feel at home and comfortable with the JavaScript/React/edit stack.
  • Design front-end of programs based on user requirements.
  • Participate in various activities to improve the overall user experience of the service.
  • Develop web applications based on SAP UI5 and UI5 web components

What you bring

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
  • You have some experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud native solutions.
  • You have experience with the JavaScript ecosystem (e.g. TypeScript, Webpack, NPM, Jasmine, Mocha, etc.)
  • You know how to optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
  • Fluency both written and spoken in English
