Developer for Cloud Native

What you'll do

• Develop and script modules within the SAP Cloud Appliance Library

• Collaborate with the development team on feature design, implementation and functionality

• Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect our systems and data

• Ensure high-quality standards are met for all delivered software, including thorough testing and validation

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field

• Experience in one or more of the following programing languages - Java, Enterprise Java, JavaScript, Python and Bash scripts

• Strong understanding and experience with Cloud providers (GCP, AWS, MS Azure)

• Excellent theoretical and practical background in OOP, design patterns, and data structures

• Experience with various OS is an advantage.

• Agile methodologies for software and service development

• Strong collaboration skills both within the team and across teams in a multicultural and multinational environment

• Excellent team player, passionate about work, self-motivated, and driven

• Fast learner, time management and prioritization skills, multitasking

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Fluency in English

Do you want to play an active role in implementing the next-generation automated deployment of SAP systems with the latest business AI capabilities into the Cloud?

Our team is part of the SAP Cloud Lifecycle Management organization. We support SAP’s Cloud First strategy by developing the next-generation automated deployment of SAP systems with business AI capabilities (like S4/HANA) into the Public Cloud. Our solution provides end-to-end automated landscape provisioning, using technologies like Shell Scripting, Python, and Ansible. The solution contains a Java Cloud application, for managing and configuring cloud resources like VMs and Load Balancers, including their connectivity. It is running on the SAP Business Technology Platform based on Cloud Native concepts. The frontend is being developed with SAP UI5 and aligned with SAP Fiori Guidelines.
