Our  client is a BeNeLux-located international advisory firm that started in  2009 and provides tax advisory, corporate secretarial, and accounting  services to their clients. They have been operating in Bulgaria since  2021 and work in a multicultural, friendly, cohesive atmosphere.  Currently, they are expanding their team and we are looking for:

Senior Accountant

Main Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and verifying financial statements and reports related to the dedicated accounting projects;
  • Providing smooth communication and building a solid business relationship with the clients;
  • Preparing quarterly VAT, VIES, and INTRASTAT declarations;
  • Preparing internal management reports;
  • Coordinating operational accounting tasks and assuring accurate and timely processing of the accounting information;
  • Managing the process of Month-end and Year-end closing;
  • Communicating with and providing support to the internal Tax Compliance Department.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master‘s degree in Accounting or Finance;
  • At least 3-5 years of proven experience with internationally operating businesses in a relvant position;
  • Knowledge and experience in IFRS-reporting;
  • Very good Excel skills would be considered an advantage;
  • Proficiency in English - both written and spoken;
  • Partial or full ACCA qualification will be a significant plus;
  • A dynamic, detail-oriented, reliable personality with positive attitude, open to challenges in supporting and growing business;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
